Description

IVADO is an interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral research and knowledge mobilization consortium whose mission is to develop and promote a robust, reasoning and responsible AI. Founded in 2016, Ivado is a joint initiative of Université de Montréal, HEC Montréal and Polytechnique Montréal, and consists of some 170 members and industrial, university, and government partners, as well as more than 1,400 scientists. Ivado is structured around four pillars: TRAINING Training scientists, professionals, managers and the next generation of AI talent in order to meet the growing needs of organizations. RESEARCH Supporting and promoting scientific research while contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI expertise. TRANSFER Encouraging the transfer of AI knowledge to organizations and the public, as well as the transfer of technology to industry and entrepreneurial applications. KNOWLEDGE MOBILIZATION Turn Montreal and Quebec into the hub of a thriving, world-class AI network.
