Description

Ivado is a Quebec-wide institute at the crossroads of academia and organizations. It develops cutting-edge expertise and supports innovation in the fields of artificial Intelligence (AI), operational research (OR) and data science (DS). Founded in 2016, Ivado is a joint initiative of Université de Montréal, HEC Montréal and Polytechnique Montréal, and consists of some 170 members and industrial, university, and government partners, as well as more than 1,400 scientists. Ivado is structured around four pillars: TALENT Training scientists, professionals, managers and the next generation of AI talent in order to meet the growing needs of organizations. KNOWLEDGE Supporting and promoting scientific research while contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI expertise. TRANSFER Encouraging the transfer of AI knowledge to organizations and the public, as well as the transfer of technology to industry and entrepreneurial applications. COMMUNITY Turn Montreal and Quebec into the hub of a thriving, world-class AI network.
