Mila is the result of a collaboration between the Université de Montréal and McGill University, in close cooperation with Polytechnique Montréal and HEC Montréal, and brings together a community of professors, students, industrial partners and startups working in AI, making the institute the largest academic research centre in machine learning in the world.

Mila is a community of more than 500 machine learning researchers dedicated to scientific excellence and innovation. Our mission is to build a global cluster of scientific advances that inspire innovation and the development of artificial intelligence for the benefit of all.
